I’m Claudia, born in 1986, and I live and work in Milan as a freelance costume designer. I studied at fine arts academies, where I earned a degree first in set design and later in fashion design. Since 2013, I’ve worked across various fields—from television to fashion, from music videos to advertising. In recent years, however, I’ve chosen to focus on cinema, where I can fully express my experience and vision of the world by bringing stories and characters to life. Originally from Catania, a city rich in artistic and musical influences, I was immersed from a young age in the worlds of street art, hip hop, and the early 2000s music scene. These experiences helped me develop a keen eye for contemporary culture and subcultures. After spending 15 years in Milan, this sensitivity has further evolved, enriching my approach with a modern and trend-conscious perspective.
My background in art history fuels my passion for historical costumes, especially those from the early 20th century. I love creating costumes that tell stories—whether authentic or innovative—and I’m always in search of new inspiration to bring unique characters to life.
